2014 All-MAAC Tournament Team... Named 2013 NJCBA Second-Team All-State

2015: Saw action in 44 games, making 42 starts at catcher and in the outfield… Completed the season hitting .266 with a team-leading 13 doubles and 54 RBI’s… Earned a spot on the All-MAAC 2nd team at catcher… Collected two hits, an RBI, and a run scored at Florida Atlantic (2/27)… Went three for five with two RBI’s, and a run scored at Rutgers (4/1)… Had two hits to go along with three RBI’s and two runs scored vs Canisius (4/26). 

2014: Made appearances in 34 games in his junior season, starting in 31 behind the plate… Named to MAAC All-Tournament Team… Finished the season with a batting average of .248 with four doubles, 10 runs scored and seven RBIs… Had two hits and a walk against Florida Atlantic (2/21)… Had a four-game hitting streak between 3/19 and 3/29… Went 3-for-4 with two doubles in first game against Fairfield (4/18)… Had three RBIs on two sacrifice flies against Rider (5/3)… In the MAAC Tournament (5/21-5/24) he went 9-15 scoring 2 runs and driving in one.

2013: Served as the team’s primary starting catcher, while also seeing action in the outfield… Prior to the season, the Northeast Conference’s coaches voted Perry the league’s best defensive catcher with the strongest throwing arm among the NEC’s catchers in a published report by College Baseball Insider… Played in 51 games, including 50 starts… Hit .288 with seven doubles, 23 runs scored and 15 RBI’s… Walked eight times and was hit by five pitches… Stole a team-high seven bases in eight attempts… Threw out 16 attempted base stealers in 54 chances (29.6 percent)... Had 14 multi-hit games… Started the season with a 3-for-5 effort with a double, three RBI’s and a stolen base in a win over Villanova (Feb. 15)… Ripped a double to lead off the series against No. 2 Vanderbilt (Feb. 22)… Added a single and a run scored against the Commodores (Feb. 24)… Had two hits, a walk and two RBI’s in the Hawks’ 7-3 win at Delaware (Mar. 1)… Started a nine-game hitting streak with a two-run single against Quinnipiac (Mar. 24)… Added three consecutive two-hit efforts in the stretch against Mount St. Mary’s (April 5, 6 [2])… Scored two runs in Game 2 of a doubleheader against the Mountaineers (April 6)… Added two hits apiece against Rutgers (April 17), Seton Hall (April 23), Sacred Heart (April 27), Bryant (May 11) and LIU Brooklyn (May 18 [2])… Went 4-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI against Lafayette (April 24)… Added another four-hit effort against Saint Peter’s, driving in three runs… Scored both of the Hawks’ runs in a 2-2 tie against LIU Brooklyn (May 18) in a game suspended due to darkness.   

2012: Was the team’s primary starting catcher, seeing action in 50 games, including 44 starts… Drove in 17 runs and scored 12 more… Stole five bases, good for fourth on the team… Threw out 26.7 percent of attempted base stealers (12-for-45)… Registered his first collegiate hit and stolen base in his debut with the Hawks against Youngstown State (Feb. 18)… Had a three-game hitting streak with one hit apiece against Virginia (Feb. 26) and VCU (Mar. 3, 4)… Collected his first-career RBI at Georgia State (Mar. 13)… Homered and hit a sacrifice fly for a pair of RBI’s against Wagner (Mar. 23)… Had his first-career multi-hit game with a 2-for-4 effort at CCSU (Apr. 14), adding two runs scored and two RBI’s in the game… Followed up with a three-hit effort against the Blue Devils the next day, while also scoring a pair of runs… Chipped in a pair of RBI’s and a stolen base against Mount St. Mary’s (Apr. 21)… Went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI’s at LIU Brooklyn (Apr. 27)… Had a single and two RBI’s in consecutive games against Bryant (May 4, 5).

High School: Four-year letter winner and varsity starter under coach Ken Frank at Toms River South High School... During his tenure with the Indians, he guided teams to A-South, Ocean County, and Shore Conference championships... Tabbed to the First Team All-County, All-Shore, and Second Team All-Group IV... Three-time Carpenter Cup selection...Ended his career with 298 at bats, 122 hits, 32 doubles, four triples,  one home run, 43 RBIs, 62 stolen bases and a .409 average... Also lettered in basketball.
