HIGH SCHOOL: A local product, playing high school baseball at nearby Middletown South… As a junior, Martin was Second Team All-Shore Conference, First Team All-Division and was selected to play in the Carpenter's Cup… Helped the Eagles to a 22-win season in 2016, and was 5-3 with a 1.22 ERA, striking out 34 and allowing just eight runs in 46 innings… Went 3-1 with a 2.98 ERA as a senior.
