Trey Stover joined the Monmouth Baseball Staff as an Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in the fall of 2025.
Stover comes to Monmouth after spending the last three seasons as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Quinnipiac University. In that role, he worked with the infielders, baserunners and coached first while assisting with the hitters. Stover was instrumental with the camps at Quinnipiac.
Prior to his time at Quinnipiac, Stover spent a year as the Director of Baseball Operations at Coastal Carolina. There he led the day-to-day operations, including supervising team managers, working in the bullpen, submitting travel itineraries and more.
He has also served as an Assistant Coach at Hartford, Marist and Quinnipiac. There he was involved in all aspects of the program. While at Hartford in the recruiting coordinator role, BaseballAmerica named Hartford one of their Top 10 Non-Power Five Recruiting Class in 2020.
Stover has worked with multiple teams that have ranked in the top 30 of the nation in many offensive categories, including home runs, stolen bases and batting average.
Stover earned his degree in Communications with a focus in Public Relations and Advertising from Hartford in 2015. After being a four-year starter at Hartford, he was drafted by the Kansas City Royals. Stover played professionally for Mainz Athletics, Ainslie Bears and the Canberra Cavalry.
