Jeff Toth, a 2001 graduate of Monmouth University begins his first season as a Hawks? assistant coach.
The Beachwood, N.J., native will be responsible for the overseeing and the develpment of the first basemen and hitters for the Hawks.
Toth, an All-NEC selection in his playing days for head coach Dean Ehehalt, is one of only four Hawks to ever amass 200 career hits.
The 22-year old Toth was a solid performer for Monmouth, as his .330 career batting average ranks 12th on the MU all-time list. He is fourth on the all-time career hits list (207) and tied for second place on the career home runs chart with 25, including his three consecutive home runs in three consecutive at-bats in 2001 against Marist.
Toth, who helped guide MU to 110 wins in his playing days, is part of the all-time winningest class in Monmouth University history.
