Biography

Quickly: Missed the entire 2006 season due to shoulder surgery... Hard-throwing right hander with a good slider to go along with an explosive fastball... Possesses good power at the plate... Appeared as a designated hitter in the past.

2006: Missed season due to shoulder surgery.

2005: Played in 19 games, including nine starts for the Hawks... Also made 11 appearances on the mound, including eight starts... Hit .231 with nine hits and five RBI... Went 2-for-5 with two RBI against Rutgers (4/6)... Had a 3-for-4 day with three RBI in win over Long Island (4/10)... Went 4-2 on the mound for Monmouth... Posted a 4.65 ERA which was seventh best on the team... Ranked second on the team with 46 strikeouts... Opened season with 2.1 hitless innings at No. 26 UCF (2/25)... Set a then career-high with 10 strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work at La Salle (3/22)... Earned first career win with 5.0 inning, five-strikeout performance against Princeton (4/7)... Set new career-mark for strikeouts, sitting down 12 batters in 7.0 innings in a win over La Salle (4/14)... Registered seven K's in 7.0 frames as the Hawks topped St. Peter's (4/28)... Ended season with 8.1 inning, two-run outing against Quinnipiac in the NEC Tournament (5/22), picking up his fourth win of the year.

2004: Appeared in 11 games for the Hawks... Made seven appearances on the mound, including  three starts... Pitched 12.0 innings and finished the season with a 10.50 ERA with five K’s... Pitched 1.0 innings of shutout ball in his college debut vs. VCU (2/22)... Made his first collegiate start against Brigham Young (3/11), going a season-high 4.0 innings and striking out two.

High School: Three-year letterwinner at St. Thomas More H.S... Team claimed runner-up status in Southeast New England in 2003... Named Baseball Factory All-America third-team in 2003 and honorable mention in 2002... Team captain in 2003 and earned first-team All-Valley Region... Holds a career batting average of .430... Led team with a .570 batting average as a senior... Finished prep career with four home runs... Earned one letter in soccer, where he was named an American Legion All-Star at goalkeeper.
