Monmouth University Athletics

2019 (Senior): Started and played in 47 games… Led Monmouth with 14 doubles and was second on the team with five home runs… Finished third on MU in batting at .293, hits with 53 and RBI’s with 34… Slugged .453, second on the club… Named MAAC Player of the Week on April 2… Drove in two runs with pair of hits in win over #9 East Carolina (2/24)… Went 3-for-5 with an RBI at Rutgers (3/13)… Drove in two runs with pair of hits at Longwood (3/19)… Exploded with 4-for-6 afternoon, homering twice and driving in three at Saint Peter’s (3/30)… Followed that with another homer and four RBI’s against Peacocks (3/30)… Drove in three with a home run against Niagara (3/13)… Added two hits and two runs scored vs. Rider (5/16)… Went 3-for-3 in regular season finale vs. Broncs (5/17).

2018 (Junior): Played in 36 games, starting 33 behind the plate and at DH… Hit .228 with four home runs and 19 RBI’s… Homered in ninth inning, a two-run shot to tie the game in eventual win over Big Ten member Penn State as part of a two-hit, three RBI day (2/24)… Drove in two runs and scored twice against Maine (4/14)… Went 3-for-5 with two doubles in win over Sacred Heart (4/14)… Went 3-for-4 with five RBI’s, two doubles and a home run at Saint Peter’s (5/5).

2017 (Junior): Redshirted after transferring from Campbell.

BEFORE MONMOUTH: Spent two years as a catcher at Campbell University...Hit .274 with a home run and seven RBI's as a freshman, posting an OPS of .720... Added two more homers as a sophomore... Played in 49 games as a Camel.

HIGH SCHOOL: Led Lancaster High to a 2014 large school section championship, hitting .496 with 30 RBI, nine home runs, a 1.621 OPS, .954 slugging and .667 on-base percentage… Recognized as Western New York’s Super Seven Athlete of the Week after hitting a two-run walk-off homer in the quarterfinal playoffs and a grand slam in the semifinals… 2014 First Team All-Western NY … Added First Team ECIC and All-New York State as a catcher in 2014… The NY State Representative in the 2014 Power Showcase Home Run Derby in Miami, FL… A 2014 AAABA First Team All-Star, helping the team capture the Regional Championship and earning a spot in the National Tournament… Led Western N.Y. in home runs and throw outs… An American Legion All-Star in 2013 and 2014… A three-year starter at St. Mary’s High School… Named First Team All-Catholic as a sophomore and junior, as well as 2013 Defensive Player of the Year and All-Western NY …Named the team’s Offensive Player of the Year as a junior, leading St. Mary’s to a league title… 2013 Under Armour Pre-Season All-American and 2013 Perfect Game All-American High Honorable Mention.
