2015: Appeared in 13 games, making nine starts… Completed the season with a 6.71 ERA, 56.1 innings pitched, and 36 strikeouts… Threw 7.1 innings giving up two earned runs while striking out two at East Carolina (3/7)… Did not give up an earned run while pitching eight innings and striking out six vs Manhattan (3/28).
2014: Emerged as Sunday starter after beginning season in the bullpen, making 11 starts as a junior… Led the conference in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.64)… Finished season 37th in the nation in WHIP (0.99), which was also second in the MAAC… Ranked 39th nationally in walks allowed per nine innings (1.34), also good for second in the MAAC… Ended sixth in the league in hits allowed per nine (7.57)… Named to All-MAAC 2nd Team… Also earned NJCBA All-State 2nd Team accolades… Entered out of the bullpen to allow just one hit in six shutout innings, striking out five at Florida Atlantic (2/23)… Followed that up with three strong innings at #1 Virginia (3/1)… Allowed just a run on five hits in five frames to get a win at Penn (3/9)… Pitched 7.1 solid innings at George Washington, allowing just a run on three hits (3/16)… Tossed first career complete game against Marist, defeating the Red Foxes with nine innings of one-run, five-hit ball (3/23)… Hurled six innings at Manhattan, giving up just two runs and fanning six… Worked seven shutout innings to give MU a win at Fairfield (4/19)… Gave up a run on five hits in beating Rider (5/4)… Beat Iona with six shutout innings, including seven K’s… Went eight strong innings in MAAC Tournament vs. Manhattan, allowing only a run on five hits.
2013: Made 11 appearances, including three starts, posting a 2-1 record with 4.20 ERA in 30.0 innings pitched… Pitched 0.2 innings of scoreless relief at Delaware (Mar. 3)… Had three straight scoreless outings in relief against Virginia Commonwealth (Mar. 16), Saint Peter’s (Mar. 27) and Central Connecticut (Mar. 30)… Pitched 2.2 scoreless innings against CCSU (Mar. 30), then a season-high… Earned his first career win at 2013 MAAC Regular Season Champion Rider (April 16), limiting the Broncs to one earned run on six hits without walking a batter, striking out a season-high four in 7.0 innings pitched… Kept the Hawks in the game with 4.1 innings of scoreless relief at Fairleigh Dickinson (April 20), striking out three Knights while surrendering just three hits and a walk… Went a career-high 7.2 innings to defeat Sacred Heart (April 28), scattering 12 hits without walking a batter.
2012: Made four appearances out of the Hawks’ bullpen, covering 1.2 innings… Pitched a third of an inning each against Youngstown State (Feb. 18) and Seton Hall (Apr. 17) without allowing a run… Pitched an inning against Rutgers (Apr. 17), allowing one earned run on two hits, while striking out one… Also saw action in three games off the bench as a pinch runner, scoring one run against Bryant (May 6).
High School: Four-year letter winner at Toms River South High School under head coach Ken Frank.... Guided Indians to Shore Conference, Ocean County and Class A South Championships in 2010 with a 26-4 record... Named MVP of the Legion All-Star game... Selected to the Carpenter Cup game... Tabbed to the All-County, All-A South squads... Named to the Third Team All-Group IV... Batted .446 in 2011 with five home runs, 26 RBIs and 15 free passes.
