High School: A three-time All-Central California Conference First Team and All-Area selection... Was named Team MVP as a junior, while adding All-Stanislaus District First Team, the Best Offensive Award and Modesto Bee Athlete of the Week as a senior... Batted .392 with a .421 on-base percentage and a .422 slugging percentage as a sophomore ... Hit .417 with five home runs as a senior... Led the Thunder to two league championships in 2008 and 2009.
