WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University Football enters Week 2 of the FCS season ranked No. 18 in the AFCA Coaches Top 25 Poll and No. 21 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll.

The Hawks moved up three spots in the AFCA rankings and one spot in the Stats Perform FCS ranks, respectively, following their 42-39 victory over Colgate in Week One. Once down 24 points in the third quarter, Monmouth rallied to score 35 unanswered points to complete the largest comeback win in program history.
 
Monmouth is one of three teams from the CAA that appear inside the top 25 in both polls, joining No. 8/9 Rhode Island and No. 12/13 Villanova. Stony Brook fell outside of both polls following at shutout loss at San Diego State.
 
The Hawks gear up for Week Two as they take on Fordham on the road on Saturday, September 6. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
