Monmouth Goalkeeper Katie Sullivan Earns All-CAA Recognition

April 30, 2025

West Long Branch, NJ - Monmouth women's lacrosse goalkeeper Katie Sullivan earned all-conference honors on the heels of an historic regular season campaign.

The sophomore earned the GK spot on the All-Coastal Athletic Association Second Team, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.

In only 15 games, Sullivan totaled the seventh-most saves (171) in the program's single-season history and the most since 2016. Her .480 save percentage stands as the sixth-best mark in Monmouth's record book.

Sullivan ranks fourth on the 2025 NCAA Division I leaderboard in total saves (as of Apr 30) while her 11.40 saves per game average is second only to Central Michigan's Alexa Martel (11.79).

There was an eight-game stretch where Sullivan stopped 10+ shots every outing. She recorded a season-high 20 saves in Monmouth's 9-6 win over Sacred Heart. The sophomore made no fewer than 11 stops in any of the Hawks' first five CAA contests.

Sullivan finished the regular season schedule as the CAA leader in saves per game. She is a fraction off the lead in save percentage as her .480 mark ranks 14th in the nation.
