WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth women's basketball junior
Divine Dibula has earned CAA Preseason Honorable Mention honors, as announced Thursday afternoon.
The Hawks were selected eight in the league's preseason coaches poll.
Dibula is the first Hawk to land on a CAA preseason honorable mention team since 2023-24.
Dibula had a breakout sophomore season, averaging a career-high 8 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game. The Ontario native scored in double figures in 10 games and recorded her first career double-double against Stony Brook on Jan. 5, 2025.
She notched a career-high 18 points against Elon on Feb. 5, 2025, while also grabbing 11 reboounds for her second career double-double. Dibula finished the 2024–25 season with four double-doubles.
She played a key role in helping the Hawks advance in the CAA Tournament, scoring a game-high 16 points in a win over Hampton. Dibula was highly efficient from the field, shooting 57% last season.
Dibula and the Hawks will tip off the 2025-26 campaign at home against Chesnut Hill on Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
