WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth University Women's Basketball team will begin its third season in the Coastal Athletic Association at home versus Hofstra on January 3 at the OceanFirst Bank Center. The league announced the full 18-game conference slate Tuesday afternoon.
The Hawks, who went 14-4 in CAA games a year ago, open with three of their first four conference games on their home court including Sunday contests versus Stony Brook (Jan. 5) and William & Mary (Jan. 12). MU will also see North Carolina A&T and Northeastern at home on January 24 and 26. Monmouth plays on the road four times in January with trips to Towson on January 10 and a weekend at Charleston and UNCW from January 17-19. The Hawks will conclude January at Campbell on the 31
st and open February at Elon on the 2
nd.
MU returns home February 7 for a matchup with Drexel, the defending CAA champions. Monmouth then splits a weekend in and out of the state with a road game at Delaware on February 14 and a home contest against Hampton on February 16. A three-game road swing at Hofstra, Drexel and Stony Brook take the Hawks into March where they close out the regular season with home games versus Towson on March 6 and Elon on March 8.
Monmouth opens its 2024-25 campaign on November 4 at Yale, with the home opener set for November 9. Tickets are on sale at MonmouthHawks.com/Tickets.
