WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Cait Wetmore, Head Coach of the Monmouth University Women's Basketball Team, has finalized her coaching staff with the addition of Dani Cosgrove as Director of Basketball Operations.
 
"I am really pleased to round out our staff with Dani," Wetmore said. "She comes from a background of elite level basketball having competed for a national championship. She has been a part of winning at the highest level and will be a great asset to share her experiences and winning mentality."
 
Cosgrove played five collegiate seasons as a stretch big at both Notre Dame and St. John's, including being a member of Notre Dame's national runner-up team as a freshman in 2018-19. As a sophomore, Cosgrove set new career highs in practically every statistical category, and then transferred to St. John's two seasons later. With the Red Storm, Cosgrove made an immediate impact starting 22 of the 31 games she appeared in during the 2021-22 campaign. She set a new career high with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a contest versus Brown. In her final collegiate season, Cosgrove played 16 minutes and added seven points in a victory over Monmouth up in Queens. She appeared in the NCAA Tournament again that year, dropping eight points in as many minutes in the First Round.
