Campbell loaded the bases in the top of the second with one out, but Kevin Opanel got out of trouble with a strikeout and a flyout.

The Camels struck for the game's first run of the day in the fifth as Reed Stallman hit a home run to center field.

Campbell hit solo home runs in the sixth and seventh innings to extend its advantage to 3-0.

The Camels sent seven batters to the plate in the top of the eight and scored three more runs, which made it a 6-0 game.

Jay Bant reached on a walk with one-out in the eighth and Caufield followed with a single to put two runners on for the Hawks. The Camels were able to strand the runners and preserve the lead.
