CHARLESTON, S.C. – College of Charleston completed a sweep of the season series with an 18-0 win over the Monmouth University baseball team in Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) action on Sunday.

The Cougars took an early lead in this one with a pair of RBI singles and a bases loaded walk in the second.Â

The home team added two runs in the third, two in the fifth and three in the sixth to take a 10-0 advantage.Â

A pair of home runs from Cole Mathis in the seventh inning capped the win.Â
