PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 21 ranked Princeton built an early six-goal cushion and never trailed in an eventual 18-6 victory over the Monmouth women's lacrosse team on Wednesday night at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.
After falling in the early hole, Monmouth began to find its footing at the draw and on the offensive end. The Hawks scored three times in the second quarter and won seven of the final nine draw controls of the opening half.
Caroline Brennan scored a hat trick and
Mya Brock finished the night with two goals to lead Monmouth's offensive effort, while
Sophia Ianno totaled seven draw controls.

The Hawks played their fourth game of the season against a New Jersey opponent.
