Monmouth’s Winning Streak Snapped by St. John’s

QUEENS, N.Y. In a tightly contested battle, St. John's was able to hold off the No. 75 ranked Monmouth University men's tennis team in a 4-3 setback for the Hawks on Wednesday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center. The loss snapped the Hawks' five-match win streak.

Despite singles wins at No. 1 (Mateo Bivol), No. 2 (Adam Hillerby), and No. 4 (Alex Martinez Sanz), Monmouth was unable to clinch the doubles point or the victory over the Johnnies.
