WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The No. 75 ranked Monmouth University men's tennis team claimed a 4-0 victory over visiting Marist on Saturday afternoon at the MU Outdoor Tennis Courts.

The Hawks secured the victory by winning the doubles point in convincing fashion as Gabriel Busato and Diego Laporta won 6-1 before Mateo Bivol and Alex Martinez Sanz secured a 6-2 triumph. Monmouth clinched the match with straight set singles wins by Bivol, Martinez Sanz and Busato.

Bivol won his seventh consecutive singles match in the victory.
