Notes and Quotes

"It has been a great week for our program and this team. Have to first give a big shout out and thank you to all of our supporters making this past week's giving day the highest in our programs history!  It was such a great feeling taking the field this week knowing we have the support of our alumni, friends & families.

We have been improving over the last few weeks and even though we were on the wrong side of it last weekend we felt we had played well enough to win and that confidence showed today against Stony Brook. I'm sure after we review this game there will be a lot of guys to recognize for how they played but Coach Geison had the defense playing at a high level and Tommy Heller was great between the pipes today. Offensively it was a grind with the weather but we had another pretty balanced attack and it was awesome to see Jake Schneider have a day. As a group we are looking forward to getting back to work on Monday and now that we are in the conference portion of the schedule we expect a fight every time we take the field." – Head Coach Brian Fisher
