WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Connor Gorman finished with six points, and
Brendan Dundas scored three goals as Monmouth University Men's Lacrosse outscored Wagner College 9-3 across the final three quarters in a 12-6 victory Tuesday afternoon at Kessler Stadium.
With the game tied at three after the first, MU scored twice in the second, including the first goal of the season from both
Jake Schneider and
Nick Teets to take a 5-3 lead into the locker room.
Connor Macrae opened the second half scoring, but two straight from Wagner cut it to 6-5. The Hawks answered with four in a row and six of the final seven, including Dundas completing his hat trick with Gorman scoring once and assisting on two more in that stretch.
