BE BIG IN THE LANE

That brings the Monmouth blocks total for the season to 144. It's the most blocks in a single-season since the 1990-91 team (161).
So far this season, the Hawks have recorded at least six blocks in 14 of 24 games. The Hawks are 5th nationally in blocks per game (6.0). Monmouth has posted at least eight blocks in a game eight times this season. Belle Kranbuhl leads the Hawks with 61 blocks and ranks 14th nationally in blocks per game (2.54). Twelve different Hawks have recorded at least one block this season.
WE'LL TAKE THE CHARITY
Monmouth went 28-for-30 from the foul line in the win over North Carolina A&T. The Hawks were 12-for-13 in the two overtime sessions from the charity stripe. Those efforts were led by Jania Hall (11-for-11). Hall's 11 made free throws were a career-high.
It was the 13th time this season that Monmouth has made 10 or more free throws in a game. The Hawks are 10-3 when they make 10 or more free throws in a game. The Hawks' 28 made free throws against the Aggies were the most by a Hawks squad under head coach Ginny Boggess and the most by a Hawks squad in the last 10 years.
NUMBERS FROM THE ROAD
The win over North Carolina A&T on Feb. 18 stretched the Hawks' current win road streak to ten straight games. Monmouth entered play this week tied for the fourth longest road win streak in Division I women's basketball. The Hawks broke the 2002-03 squad's school record for the longest road win streak in program history with the win over the Camels.
RACKING UP THE CAA WINS
With the victory over North Carolina A&T, the Hawks registered their ninth Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) win of the season, matching last year's win total for their first year in the league. Monmouth needs one more conference win to rack up its most conference wins in a season since the 2015-16 team won 11 games while a member of the MAAC.
TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE FREEBIES
The trio of Jania Hall, Sandrine Clesca and Ariana Vanderhoop combined to go 22-for-22 from the foul line in Monmouth's win over North Carolina A&T. Clesca went 6-for-6 in that game while Vanderhoop was 5-for-5 from the charity stripe.
Hall finished the game as a perfect 11-for-11 from the foul line. It was the most free throws hit in a single-game under head coach Ginny Boggess and ranks tied for 16th in single-game history at Monmouth. Hall is the first player since Alysha Womack in 2012 to make at least 11 free throws in a single-game for the Hawks.
GOING DEEP
Kaci Donovan knocked down three three-pointers for the Hawks against North Carolina A&T. It gave her 48 triples for the season. She has made at least 45 triples in two of her three seasons with the Hawks. Donovan now has 133 career made three-pointers at Monmouth. She needs two more three-pointers to move into the top 10 for career three-pointers made at Monmouth.
SCOUTING THE DRAGONS
Drexel snapped a three-game losing streak with a 61-59 victory at Delaware last time out. Drexel is paced by Brooke Mullin, who is averaging 10.8 points per game with 86 assists. Chloe Hodges is adding 9.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
