TEANECK, NJ – The Monmouth University women's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 20-6 victory over FDU on Wednesday afternoon at University Stadium.
Eleven different Hawks scored in the victory, led by Caroline Brennan's six-goal effort. Monmouth scored the game's first seven goals and led 12-3 at halftime in the 14-goal win.
Brennan and Danielle McNeely each scored twice to start the game as Monmouth built the seven-goal cushion, before FDU got on the board. The Hawks led by as many as 15 in the game.
