QUICK BULLETS
- Monmouth will go for a perfect 4-0 record in the month of December versus American on Saturday afternoon.
- Taisha Exanor was named the CAA Player of the Week on Monday. She had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the win over NJIT on Dec. 9.
- The game will come on the backend of a Monmouth doubleheader where the men play Fairfield at 1 pm.
- Damaris Rodriguez scored 27 points vs. Saint Peter's and surpassed the 2,000-point mark for her career.
- Rodriguez will be honored pregame for her achievement.
- Kranbuhl and Ella Farrelly each had a double-double at Sacred Heart, the first time a pair of Hawks achieved that feat in the same game since 2020.

- Be Monmouth's second win over Patriot League opponent this season (MU defeated Lafayette on Dec. 1 at home, 60-54).

- Monmouth and NJIT are meeting for the 7th time in women's basketball competition.
- Monmouth leads the all-time series, 4-0.
- American leads the all-time series, 4-2.
- The two teams last met last season. Monmouth won on the road, 72-60.
- Exanor (10), Clesca (9), Haynes (9), and Kranbuhl (8) each scored at least eight points for MU.
- The Hawks outrebounded the Eagles, 40-27.
- The Eagles have not been to West Long Branch since 2006.
 
NEXT UP
- Monmouth opens its CAA schedule versus Hofstra after the holiday break on Jan. 3.
- The game will be broadcast live on FloCollege, SNY and NBC Sports Philadelphia + at 7:00 p.m.
- It will be the 15th meeting all-time between the schools.
- Monmouth has not lost to the Pride since joining the CAA and has won seven straight in the all-time series dating back to 1998.
