OPENING TIP
• The Hawks play the middle game of a three-game road swing as they visit Hampton.
• Monmouth has played well of late on the road, having won five straight and tying the 2021-22 team for the longest  road win streak under head coach Ginny Boggess.
• The Hawks are 1-0 all-time against Hampton. Monmouth posted a 69-56 victory at home in the only meeting between the two sides.
• MU picked up its 10th win of the season last time out. It ties the 2021-22 team for the quickest to reach 10 wins under head coach Ginny Boggess. Both teams needed just 16 games.
Belle Kranbuhl enters play this weekend needing just three more blocks to become the fourth player in program history to reach 200 career blocks.
• The Hawks went 13-for-20 from the foul line in the win over Drexel on Sunday. Monmouth is 7-2 this season when it makes 10 or more free throws in a game.
Ella Farrelly scored a career-high 10 points, including six in the second half comeback against Drexel.
• The Hawks handed out 12 assists at Drexel, their third straight game with double digit assists. Monmouth moved to 8-2 on the year when it records 10 or more assists in a game.
Ariana Vanderhoop led the Hawks with 12 points against Drexel. She has now scored in double figures in three straight games.
• The Hawks won the rebounding battle against Drexel. Monmouth enters play this weekend leading the CAA in rebounding margin at +8.5.

STREAKING AWAY FROM HOME
The Hawks have played well away from the OceanFirst Bank Center. The win over Drexel gave Monmouth its fifth straight road win (Dec. 2, Dec. 6, Dec. 11, Jan. 14, Jan. 21). That ties the 2021-22 team for the longest road win streak under head coach Ginny Boggess.

The Hawks' current road win streak ranks tied for third in program history. The 2002-03 squad holds the school record for road wins at eight. The 1986-87 and 2003-04 teams each won six straight games on the road.

IT'S NICE TO BE HOME
Freshman Diamond Wiggins is returning home this weekend. Wiggins is from Norfolk, Virginia and attended Norview High School, which is just 12 miles away from the Convocation Center. Wiggins will also get a chance to face a former high school teammate as Hampton's Le'Asia Foreman also attended Norview High School.

THE CLIMB TO 200
Monmouth's Belle Kranbuhl has been a force in the lane since her arrival on campus. She has 37 blocks this season and 197 for her career. Kranbuhl currently ranks 16th among active Division I players for career blocks. She needs to record three more blocks this season, Kranbuhl to become the four player in program history to reach the mark and the first since Suzanne Johnson (1988-91).

NUMBERS FROM THE ROAD
During the Hawks current road win streak, several players have stepped up to contribute. Monmouth is outscoring its opponents by a +14.8 margin and outrebounding opponents by a +12 margin. Ariana Vanderhoop is averaging 13.3 points per game while Kaci Donovan is adding 11.6 points per game. Sandrine Clesca, Jania Hall and Taisha Exanor are all averaging 9.0 points per game. Belle Kranbuhl has dominated the defensive end during the streak as she is averaging 8.2 rebounds per game with six blocks.

HIT THAT SHOT
Monmouth is 7-1 this year when it shoots 40% or better from the field. The Hawks shot a season-best 50% in the home win over St. John's and later matched that mark in the road win at Drexel. Monmouth is 9-1 all-time under head coach Ginny Boggess when it shoots 50% or better from the field.

CLEANING THE GLASS
Monmouth won the rebounding battle against Drexel, 35-26. Belle Kranbuhl led the Hawks with seven boards in the game as nine of the 10 Hawks who appeared in the game registered at least one rebound.

Monmouth has now outrebounded their opponent in 13 games this season. The Hawks enter play this weekend leading the CAA with a +8.5 rebounding margin.

The Hawks are 6-1 this season when they pull down 40 or more rebounds in a game and 7-0 when they win the rebounding battle by a +10 margin. Last season the Hawks were 8-3 when they pulled down 40 or more rebounds in a game. Belle Kranbuhl is averaging a team-best 7.4 rebounds per game while two other Hawks are averaging better than four rebounds per game.

SEEING DOUBLE
Monmouth had three players score in double figures in the win over Drexel (Ariana Vanderhoop-12, Jania Hall-10, Ella Farrelly-10). Vanderhoop has scored in double figures in three straight games and nine of 12 games this season. Hall has reached the double figure mark in eight games this season. Farrelly's 10 points were a career-high for the sophomore.

SCOUTING THE PIRATES
Hampton sits at 1-14 overall and 1-4 in CAA play entering the weekend. The Pirates are coming off their first win of the season, a 72-50 victory over UNCW last time out. Camryn Hill leads the Pirates as she is averaging 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
