CANTON, MA – Monmouth University Women's Golf competed in the 54-hole Red Bandana Invitational this week, hosted by Boston College at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, MA. MU finished in 13^th place in the 17-team field.
 
Graduate student Liddie McCook led MU on the week, shooting a middle round 75, the best Hawks round of the weekend. Sophia Ramirez Velandia posted 79 in the opening round, while Ava Lozito shot 78 in the middle round, marking all three MU rounds in the 70's on the weekend. Newcomers Mary Gersec and Brooke Bothwell rounded out the lineup for the tournament.
 
The Hawks shot 327 in the opening round, followed by 315 and 330 to place 13^th in the 17-team field. Boston College won the event in which they hosted.
