Ximena Cano won the Flight E singles bracket to highlight Sunday's action for the Monmouth University women's tennis team at the Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy.

Jordyn Pax captured the Flight D consolation bracket final.

Singles Action
Cano capped a perfect 4-0 weekend with a victory over Kelly Barnes of St. Bonaventure. She claimed victory with set wins of 6-4 and 6-3 to take the Flight E final.

Pax battled through the consolation bracket of Flight D to face Riley Smith of Mary Washington. She was able to defeat Smith, 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 and finished the weekend with a 3-1 record.

In other singles action on Sunday, junior
Lana Brezanin fell in a hard-fought match in the Flight A consolation finals. Brezanin was tripped up by Lara Kaplan of Binghamton by a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 score. She finished the weekend with a 2-2 record.

Sophomore
Hana McKinney battled to a third set tiebreaker in the Flight B consolation finals. McKinney took the first set of the day from Addison Felts of Mary Washington, 6-3. Felts bounced back to take the second set, 6-3. Felts was able to edge McKinney 10-7 in the tiebreaker. McKinney finished the weekend with a 2-2 mark.

In the Flight C consolation semifinals on Sunday, senior
Lauren Landstrom was tripped by Megha Dania of Lehigh by a 6-4, 6-1 margin.Â
