WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Monmouth University Head Women's Rowing Coach Scott Belford has announced the addition of 16 student-athletes ahead of the 2023-24 season.
 
The class consists of student-athletes from six different states, including five from Pennsylvania, four from New Jersey, two from Texas and a pair of international student-athletes from Canada.
 
"I think the sheer size of this class speaks volumes about how our recruits viewed Monmouth University, the current team, and the culture that we have built in year one," Belford said. "They represent six different states as well as two Canadian provinces, including some of the largest, most competitive high school programs and junior clubs in North America.
 
I can't say enough about what the addition of Olivia Staff has meant to the program and what it has done for recruiting. Finally, the job that this founding class did in establishing a culture that recruits can easily see themselves being a part of, while also delivering above and beyond on every visit and tour was really a difference maker. We are extremely excited to add such an outstanding class to our program this upcoming fall, and we can't wait to see what they achieve."
