WASHINGTON, DC – Monmouth University Men's Basketball concluded its 2022-23 season in the second round of the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Saturday, falling to Drexel University, 64-45.
Jakari Spence and
Myles Foster led the way for MU with 10 points.

Foster and Spence scored MU's first five buckets of the second half, including two straight from Foster to trim to the deficit to 12 at 15:36. Foster's layup at 12:18 cut it to 15, but Drexel was able to hold off the MU push, winning 64-45.

Monmouth fell behind in the early stages, but finished the first half strong, scoring nine of the final 13 points to go into the locker room down by 16.
Klemen Vuga and
Jarvis Vaughan each had four rebounds in the opening 20 minutes.
