WILLIAMSBURG, VA – Monmouth University Women's Golf competed in a large field this week at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate at The Kingsmill Resort River Course in Virginia. MU placed 13
th in the 19-team field.
Monmouth's best round came in the third and final, posting a team score of 318 after shooting 322 and 329 in the opening two rounds.
Paige Diecidue led MU for the week, finishing T39, with
Liddie McCook coming in at T55.
Ava Lozito was in the 70's twice, while freshman
Sophia Ramirez Velandia improved in each round of the tournament.
Claire Orr finished out the Hawks lineup.

-Diecidue finished with 78, her best round and one of just three rounds in the 70's by a Hawk this week.
-Lozito's opening round 77 was the best MU round of the weekend.
-Lozito carded a pair of rounds in the 70's.
-Ramirez Velandia shaved off two strokes between each round, improving to shoot 80 in Round Three.
-MU shot 322-329-318 to finish 13
th of 19 in the field.
