Opening Tip
• Winners of three of their last four, the Hawks hit the road to visit one of the two teams in the CAA that they haven't faced yet.
• This is the third meeting all-time and first since the 1997-98 season between Monmouth and the Tribe. MU leads the all-time series, 2-0.
• Monmouth rallied from an eight-point third quarter deficit for a 63-59 win over Hofstra on Friday night. The Hawks are 7-0 when holding an opponent under 60 points this year.
• Monmouth matched its season-high with 20 made free throws on Friday night against Hofstra.

Lucy Thomas posed a team-high 19 points which gave her 996 for her career. She needs four more points to become the 18th player in program history to reach the 1,000 point plateau.
• MU recorded the 595th win in program history on Friday night.
• The Hawks recorded 10 steals on Friday night against Hofstra, including six in the fourth quarter. It was just the third time this season they have recorded 10 or more steals in a game.

Ariana Vanderhoop posted her third double-double in the last five games with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds against Hofstra.

Bri Tinsley scored 10 points on Friday night, all of which came in the second half as the Hawks battled back.
• The Hawks did a good job taking care of the basketball as they had a season-low eight turnovers against Hofstra on Friday night.
• Following the William & Mary game, the Hawks are off till they host Drexel on Sunday, Feb. 12.

WE'LL TAKE THE CHARITY
Monmouth went 20-for-23 from the foul line on Friday night and shot a season-high 87% from the floor against Hofstra. Lucy Thomas was a perfect 6-for-6 from the foul line while Ariana Vanderhoop was 5-for-6.Â
The Hawks have done a better job from the foul line since CAA play began. Monmouth is shooting 73.3% from the foul line in 11 CAA games this season, which ranks fifth overall. The Hawks are 53-for-67 in its last three games, including two games with 20+ makes. Thomas is 30-for-36 from the charity stripe since CAA play began.
REACHING THE CENTURY MARK
Lucy Thomas had a team-high 19 points for the Hawks on Friday night against Hofstra. That gave her 211 for the season and 996 for her career. Thomas enters Sunday's game needing just four points to become the 18th player in the program's Division I history to reach the 1,000 points plateau and the first since Chevannah Paalvast in 2014.
DEFENSIVE LOCKDOWN
Monmouth's defense cracked down on Friday night against Hofstra. The Hawks limited the Pride to just 59 points in the contest, including 12 in the second quarter. Monmouth improved to 7-0 on the year when it holds an opponent to 59 points or less.
WE'VE GOT DOUBLE VISION
Ariana Vanderhoop had 15 points on Friday against Hofstra. It was her seventh straight game scoring in double figures and marked the 11th time this season she had reached the mark.Â
In addition Lucy Thomas had 19 points against the Pride. It was her fourth straight game in double figures and ninth of the season. Bri Tinsley's 10 points allowed her to reach double figures for the 12th time this season.Â
I'LL TAKE THATÂ
Monmouth finished with 10 steals on Friday night, including six in the key fourth quarter. Lucy Thomas, Ariana Vanderhoop and Bri Tinsley all had three steals in the game for MU.Â
It was the third time this season the Hawks have recorded 10 or more steals in a game. Monmouth is 2-1 on the season when it records 10 or more steals in a game (wins over Northeastern and Hofstra).
TAKE CARE OF THE BALL
On the flip side, Monmouth did its best job of protecting the basketball all season on Friday night. The Hawks had a season-low eight turnovers against the Pride. It was the fewest turnovers by the Hawks in a game since Dec. 7, 2019 at Lafayette when the Hawks had nine.
CLEANING THE GLASS
A pair of Hawks recorded career-highs in rebounding on Friday night. Ariana Vanderhoop pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds against Hofstra. It was her fourth double-digit rebounding performance of her career. In addition Ella Farrelly had a career-high eight rebounds against the Pride. Farrelly had five of her eight rebounds on the offensive glass which led to several second chance opportunities for the Hawks.
THE CHASE FOR 600
Friday's win over Hofstra was the Hawks' 11th of the season and 595 in program history. The Hawks have played 1,187 games entering Sunday.Â
SCOUTING THE TRIBE
William & Mary is 11-10 overall and 6-4 in CAA play following a win over Hampton on Friday night. Riley Casey is averaging a team-high 16.7 points per game with 60 assists while Sydney Wagner is adding 15.5 points per game.Â
