Opening Tip
• Hitting the road for the final time in the regular season, the Hawks are set to visit Hofstra for a Sunday matinee.
• This will be the 14th meeting all-time between the Hawks and Pride. Monmouth leads the all-time series 8-5, including a 63-59 win on Feb. 3 in West Long Branch.

Kaci Donovan paced the Hawks with 15 points in their last contest at N.C. A&T.

GOING DEEP
Monmouth matched its season-high with 11 three-pointers on Sunday at N.C. A&T. Kaci Donovan, Bri Tinsley and Lovin Marsicano all knocked down three three-pointers against the Aggies to lead the efforts.
The Hawks have knocked down 189 three-pointers on the season. Seven Hawks have connected on 11 or more triples this year. Tinsley leads that group with 55 three-pointers, which ranks among the top 20 in a single-season at Monmouth. MU has made 69 more triples this season than their opponents. The Hawks are 8-5 on the year when they connect on eight or more three-pointers in a game.Â
CLEANING THE GLASS
Monmouth won the rebounding battle, 33-29 on Sunday against N.C. A&T. It was a balanced effort from the Hawks as nine of the 10 players who saw time in the game recorded at least one rebound. Bri Tinsley and Belle Kranbuhl all had five rebounds to lead the Hawks in that contest.
It was the 17th time this season the Hawks have won the rebounding battle. Monmouth is now 10-7 on the year when it wins the rebounding battle against its opponent. Monmouth comes into Sunday's action ranked second in the CAA with a +2.8 rebounding margin.
IRON HAWK
Lucy Thomas has been a mainstay in the Monmouth rotation since her arrival on campus for the 2018-19 season. Thomas recently played her in 122nd career game for the Hawks. She is currently is tied for fifth in career games played at Monmouth. Thomas needs to appear in three more games to tie the school record for career games played (125 games by Gabby Singer 2009-13).
MISS ASSIST
The Hawks dished out 17 assists on 22 made baskets on Sunday at N.C. A&T. Bri Tinsley handed out five assists while Kaci Donovan and Ariana Vanderhoop each had three helpers in the contest. The Hawks have had at least one player with four or more assists in 20 of 26 games.
Monmouth comes into Sunday averaging 12.92 assists per game, which ranks fourth in the CAA. The Hawks have recorded 15 or more assists in 10 games. Tinsley leads the Hawks in assists as she is averaging 3.7 assists per game. That ranks sixth in the CAA. She has eight games this season with five or more assists. She needs three more assists to reach 100 for the season.
WE'VE GOT DOUBLE VISION
A pair of Hawks scored in double figures in Sunday's tough loss to the Aggies. Kaci Donovan led the Hawks with 15 points in the contest. It was the fourth time in the last six games she reached double figures in the scoring column. It was the ninth time this season she has hit for double figures.Â
Lovin Marsicano scored 11 points against the Aggies. She matched her season-high in the contest (11 points in the win at Delaware).\
SOLID SHOOTING
Monmouth has proven to have a solid shooting percentage throughout this season. Monmouth shot 44.9% from the field at N.C. A&T, inlcuding 66.6% in the second quarter. The Hawks are shooting 40.1% from the field entering play Sunday. That ranks sixth in the CAA. Monmouth is 7-6 on the year when it shoots 40% or better from the field in a game. Belle Kranbuhl, Lucy Thomas, Ariana Vanderhoop and Kaci Donovan have all taken over 100 shots on the year and are shooting 40% or better for the Hawks this season.Â
SCOUTING THE PRIDE
Hofstra has lost four straight games, including a 54-38 loss to Drexel on Friday night. Sorelle Ineza led the Pride with 12 points in that game. Brandy Thomas leads Hofstra on the season as she is averaging 13.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. Ineza is adding 9.2 points per game.
