Opening Tip
• Looking to bounce back after a hard-fough defensive battle Friday night, the Hawks are back in action to visit North Carolina A&T.
• This is the second meeting of the season and second meeting all-time between the Hawks and the Aggies. N.C. A&T won the first match-up 68-52 behind 18 points from Jazmin Harris.

Bri Tinsley led the Hawks with 11 points on Friday night at Elon.
• The Hawks won the rebounding battle on Friday night, 35-31. It was the 16th time this seson, the Hawks have outrebounded their opponent.
• Monmouth hit 11-of-15 chances from the foul line on Friday night. It was the eighth time in CAA play that the Hawks have made at least 10 free throws in a game.|
• MU recorded the 596th win in program history on Feb. 12 against Drexel.

NOT IN MY HOUSEÂ
After being held without a block against Drexel, the Hawks bounced back with three on Friday night at Elon. Belle Kranbuhl led the way with two rejections while Ella Farrelly added one.Â
The Hawks have 92 blocks and are averaging 3.68 blocks per game. That ranks first in the CAA this season. The Hawks are 9-5 this season when they record four or more blocks in a game. They had a season-high nine blocks in the win over NJIT and matched that mark against College of Charleston. MU's efforts have been led by Kranbuhl, who has 44 blocks so far this year. Her 1.8 blocks per game is among the top three in the CAA this season. Kranbuhl is one of ten Hawks to record at least one block this season.
CLEANING THE GLASS
Monmouth won the rebounding battle, 35-31 on Friday against Elon. It was a balanced effort from the Hawks as all nine players who saw time in the game recorded at least one rebound. Lucy Thomas, Jen Louro and Kaci Donovan all had five rebounds to lead the Hawks in that contest.
It was the 16th time this season the Hawks have won the rebounding battle. Monmouth is now 10-6 on the year when it wins the rebounding battle against its opponent. Monmouth comes into Sunday's action ranked third in the CAA with a +2.8 rebounding margin.
IRON HAWK
Lucy Thomas has been a mainstay in the Monmouth rotation since her arrival on campus for the 2018-19 season. Thomas recently played her in 121st career game for the Hawks. She is currently is tied for ninth in career games played. Thomas needs one more game to move into the top five for career games played.Â
WE'LL TAKE THE CHARITYÂ
Monmouth went 11-for-15 from the foul line on Friday night against Elon. Lucy Thomas hit 4-of-7 chances from the foul line in the contest while Ariana Vanderhoop, Jen Louro and Bri Tinsley were each a perfect 2-for-2 in the game. It was the 12th time this season, the Hawks have made at least 10 free throws in a game.
Since CAA play began on Dec. 30, the Hawks have been effective from the charity stripe. Monmouth is shooting 73.8% from the line in CAA contests, which ranks sixth in the CAA. Leading that charge is Lucy Thomas, who has made 40-of-52 (76.9%) chances in CAA games.Â
MISS ASSIST
The Hawks dished out six assists on 17 made baskets on Friday night at Elon. Jania Hall had a pair of helpers in the game while four other players recorded at least one assist in the game. The Hawks have had at least one player with four or more assists in 19 of 25 games.
Monmouth comes into Sunday averaging 12.76 assists per game, which ranks fifth in the CAA. The Hawks have recorded 15 or more assists in nine games. Bri Tinsley leads the Hawks in assists as she is averaging 3.7 assists per game. That ranks sixth in the CAA. She has seven games this season with five or more assists.
SOLID SHOOTING
Monmouth has proven to have a solid shooting percentage throughout this season. MU shot 50% from the field in the win over Drexel on Feb. 12. It was the fourth time this season the Hawks have shot 50% or better from the field in a game (3-1 in those contests). The Hawks are shooting 40.0% from the field entering play Sunday. That ranks eighth in the CAA. Monmouth is 7-5 on the year when it shoots 40% or better from the field in a game. Belle Kranbuhl, Lucy Thomas, Ariana Vanderhoop and Kaci Donovan have all taken over 100 shots on the year and are shooting 40% or better for the Hawks this season.Â
WE'VE GOT DOUBLE VISION
Bri Tinsley led the Hawks with 11 points against Elon. She has struck for double digits on the scoreboard in three of the last four games. Tinsley has reached double figures in a team-high 14 games this season.
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
N.C. A&T comes in looking to snap a two-game losing streak. The Aggies fell to W&M last time out despite 19 points and four steals from Maleia Bracone. Bracone leads the Aggies on the season as she is averaging 13.8 points per game. Jazmin Harris is contributing 13.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
