OPENING TIP
• Monmouth hits the road for the first time since the season opener as it heads to Providence.
• This will be the sixth meeting all-time between the Hawks and Providence. The Friars lead the all-time series, 5-0.
• The Hawks are playing their second Big East opponent of the season (win vs. St. John's).
• MU hit a season-high seven three-pointers in the win over UMass. Those efforts were led by Jaye Haynes, who was three-for-three from behind the arc.
• Monmouth dominated the rebounding battle against UMass. The Hawks pulled down 45 boards and had +25 edge in that stat category.
• Jania Hall and Ariana Vanderhoop each scored a team-high 16 points against UMass. Hall's 16 markers were a career-high while Vanderhoop's 16 were a season-high.
• Ella Farrelly led Monmouth's efforts on the boards against UMass as she had a career-high 11 rebounds. It was the most boards by a Hawk in a game this season.
• Monmouth matched its season-high with 74 points in the win over UMass. Dating back to last season, the Hawks are 10-1 when they score 70 or more points in a game.
• MU has 31 blocks in four games this season. Monmouth enters the week tied for 13th nationally in blocks per game (7.0).
• Five Hawks played in Canada before joining the Monmouth family - Ella Farrelly, Taisha Exanor, Sandrine Clesca, Rosalie Mercille and Divine Dibula.
• Monmouth returns home to host Brown on Sunday, Nov. 26. 
 

CLEANING THE GLASS
Monmouth turned in a dominating performance on the glass versus UMass. The Hawks pulled down 45 rebounds in the game to UMass' 20 boards. Eight Hawks recorded at least one rebound in the game. That group was led by Ella Farrelly, who had a career-high 11 rebounds. 

The Hawks are tied for third in the CAA for rebounding through four games while averaging 43.0 boards per game. Taisha Exanor, Belle Kranbuhl, Sandrine Clesca and Ariana Vanderhoop are all averaging better than five rebounds per game for the Hawks.  

DISHING OUT THE ASSISTS
Monmouth handed out a season-high 15 assists in the win over UMass. Ariana Vanderhoop and Jania Hall each had four helpers in the contest to lead the way. Monmouth improved to 2-0 on the year when it records 10 or more assists in the game.

Monmouth went 8-5 last year when the Hawks recorded 15 or more assists in a game. 

NOT IN MY HOUSE
The Hawks have made their presence felt around the basket through four games of the season. Monmouth enters play this week ranked thirteenth nationally in blocks per game (7.0).

Leading that charge has been Belle Kranbuhl and Taisha Exanor, who have 11 and 10 blocks respectively through four games. The pair are currently ranked among the top 15 in the nation for blocks per game. Kranbuhl has at least two blocks in each of the first four games while Exanor has at least one block in each game.

SEEING DOUBLE
Three players scored in double figures for the Hawks in the win over UMass. Jania Hall and Ariana Vanderhoop led the way with 16 points each while Kaci Donovan chipped in 13 points. Hall's 16 points were a career-high for the senior. She has scored in double figures two times this season and 15 times in her career. Vanderhoop has scored in double figures three times this season and 32 times for her career. Donovan has scored in double figures in three of the first four games this season and 26 times in her Monmouth career. 

GOING DEEP
Monmouth knocked down a season-high seven three-pointers against UMass. Jaye Haynes led the Hawks as she was 3-for-3 from behind the arc in the contest while Kaci Donovan added a pair of triples.

Last year the Hawks were 10-5 when they hit seven or more three-pointers in a game. 

SWEET 70
The Hawks scored a season-high 74 points in the win over St John's and matched that mark in the victory over UMass. Last year the Hawks went 9-1 when they scored 70 or more points in a game. Under head coach Ginny Boggess, the Hawks are an impressive 13-2 when they score 70 or more points in a game. 

SCOUTING THE FRIARS
Providence sits at 2-2 on the year following a 71-56 loss to Boston College. Olivia Olsen is averaging 15 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while Grace Efosa is adding 14.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
