EASTON, Pa. – Hana McKinney and Lauren Landstrom earned hard fought singles victories, but it was not enough as the Monmouth University women's tennis team fell 5-2 at Lafayette College on Friday afternoon. 
 
McKinny battled for a three-set win at number two singles against Mia Hernandez. McKinney took the early lead with a 7-6 (5) win in set one, but Hernandez battled back with a 6-3 second set victory to tie the match. McKinney responded with a 10-8 third set victory for her fourth singles victory of the fall. 
 
Landstrom earned a strong two-set victory over Alexandra Waldman at fifth singles. Landstrom took the first set by a 6-3 margin before closing out the match with a 6-2 second set win.
 
Lana Brezanin fought to a third set tiebreaker before falling at first singles.
