WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ – Nitika Girish earned a singles and a doubles win to pace the Monmouth University women's tennis team in a hard fought 5-2 loss to Seton Hall on Friday night. 
 
Girish and 
Hana McKinney teamed up for a win at second doubles to help Monmouth take an early 1-0 lead in the match. 
Lenien Jamir and 
Lauren Landstrom picked up a win at third doubles to help the Hawks secure that point as well. 
 
In singles play, the Hawks led in several matches before ultimately falling. Girish picked up her first singles win for Monmouth as she posted a 6-3, 6-1 victory at third singles.
