NOTES FROM THE LAST TIME OUT...
-Klemen Vuga grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds.
-MU had five players with seven points or more, with nobody in double figures for the first time since December 1, 2018.
-Monmouth won the second half, 27-23.
-Jack Collins tied a career-high with four steals, all in the first half.
-Collins' seven rebounds is the second most in a game this season for the freshman.
-Monmouth outrebounded UNCW, 35-29.
-MU was better off turnovers, 17-16.
-The Hawks topped UNCW on the move, 16-8.

MORE INFO ON THE ALL-TIME SERIES
-This is the second ever meeting between the schools
-This marks Monmouth's first ever visit to East Greensboro
-The only meeting took place on November 30, 2014, a 76-61 Monmouth win as part of the Barclays Center Classic 
-In that meeting, Deon Jones led all scorers with 27 points for Monmouth
-Monmouth and North Carolina A&T are both in their first season in the CAA

VUGA REBOUNDING IT
Klemen Vuga posted his first career double-digit rebounding game at UNCW, finishing with 10 caroms to go with nine points, narrowly missing his first career double-double.

FOSTER SCORING IT
Myles Foster scored 22 points, a career high and the most by a Hawk in a game this season against Hampton. He had a streak of eight straight games, the longest stretch of his career and longest for any Hawk this season, in double digits snapped at UNCW. Overall, he has 15 games in double digits this year.

PHELPS JOINS STAFF
Derrick Phelps, a teammate of King Rice's at North Carolina, was added to the coaching staff this week as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. Phelps, who was an assistant coach at Monmouth from 2011-14, previously made coaching stops at Columbia, San Francisco and Washington State.
