Myles Foster scored 22 points, a career high and the most by a Hawk in a game this season against Hampton. He has now scored in double figures in eight straight games, the longest stretch of his career and longest for any Hawk this season. Overall, he has 15 games in double digits this year.
PHELPS JOINS STAFF
Derrick Phelps, a teammate of
King Rice's at North Carolina, was added to the coaching staff this week as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. Phelps, who was an assistant coach at Monmouth from 2011-14, previously made coaching stops at Columbia, San Francisco and Washington State.
WELCOME BACK, JARVIS
After missing the first 18 games of the season with injury, Monmouth's lone senior,
Jarvis Vaughan made his debut against Charleston. He played 11 minutes and made his first basket of the season on a baseline floater.

Freshman
Andrew Ball, making his sixth consecutive start, posted a career-best 16 points against Charleston on 7-14 from the floor. He made two triples, and grabbed five rebounds in the strong showing.
SPENCE DISHES IT
Point guard
Jakari Spence posted a career-best six assists in the contest with Charleston, tying the most assists in a game by a Hawk this season. He did so next to just two turnovers. His 2-1 assist-turnover ratio is the best on the team.
