Opening Tip
• The southern swing through the CAA begins for the Hawks Friday as they travel to the College of Charleston.
• This is the first ever meeting between Monmouth and the Cougars.

TWENTY-TWENTY VISION
Jen Louro exploded for a career-high 25 points for the Hawks in the game against Towson. The guard made eight field goals in the game and five of those eight came from behind the arc. It was the second time in her career that she has scored 20 or more points in a game and the first time since the 2019-20 season.
Louro is the fourth Hawk to score 20 or more points in a game this season, joining Bri Tinsley (Sacred Heart-25, La Salle-21, Elon-20), Kaci Donovan (Brown-22) and Lucy Thomas (NJCU-23) in that category.
WE'LL TAKE THE CHARITY
Monmouth went 10-for-12 from the free throw line against Towson on Sunday. Jen Louro was a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe while Ariana Vanderhoop knocked down 3-of-4 chances.
Monmouth has now gone 10-for-12 from the line in back-to-back games. The Hawks have made 10 or more free throws in seven games this season. MU made a season-high 18 free throws on 23 chances at Delaware.
NOT IN MY HOUSE
MU has found success blocking the basketball this season. The Hawks recorded six blocks against Towson as Ella Farrelly had a career-high three while Belle Kranbuhl added two rejections.
The Hawks have 69 blocks and are averaging 4.06 blocks per game. That ranks first in the CAA this season. The Hawks are 7-4 this season when they record four or more blocks in a game. They had a season-high nine blocks in the win over NJIT. MU's efforts have been led by Kranbuhl, who has 34 blocks so far this year, which ranks 22nd nationally. Her 2.0 blocks per game is among the top three in the CAA this season. Kranbuhl is one of nine Hawks to record at least one block this season.
MISS ASSIST
Bri Tinsley led the Hawks with four assists on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks have now had at least one player with four or more assists in 15 of 17 games.
Monmouth comes into this weekend averaging 13.17 assists per game, which ranks fifth in the CAA. The Hawks have recorded 15 or more assists in seven games this year. Tinsley leads the Hawks while averaging 4.1 assists per game. She ranks tied for second in the CAA in that category.
CLEANING THE GLASS
MU pulled down 36 rebounds against Towson on Sunday. Belle Kranbuhl led the way with a team-high eight rebounds while Lucy Thomas added six rebounds in the game.
Monmouth is outrebounding its opponents by a +1.2 margin this season, which is tied for sixth in the CAA. The Hawks have outrebounded their opponents in ten games this season. Kranbuhl is averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game while Thomas is adding 5.2 rebounds per game. Six Hawks have grabbed 40 or more rebounds so far this season.
SEEING DOUBLE
In addition to Jen Louro's 25 points on Sunday, the Hawks saw one more player reach double figures in the scoring column. Ariana Vanderhoop contributed 10 points to the Hawks cause in the game. It was the second straight game and sixth time this season that Vanderhoop has scored 10 or more points in a game.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
The Cougars are 7-8 overall and 2-3 in the CAA this season. They are coming off a 55-47 win over Hofstra last time out. Jada Logan led College of Charleston with 25 points in that contest. Logan is averaging a team-best 16.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this season. Anika McGarity is adding 11.2 points per game.
