SEEING DOUBLE
A pair of Hawks scored in double figures to lead the way on Friday night at Stony Brook. Kaci Donovan led the way with 11 points while Ariana Vanderhoop chipped in with 10 points.Â
Donovan scored in double figures for the first time since Nov. 25 at Brown and the fifth time this season. Vanderhoop also reached the double-digit point mark for the fifth time this season. Bri TInsley leads the Hawks with 10 games in double figures this season.
I'LL TAKE THAT
Monmouth recorded 11 steals in the game on Friday night at Stony Brook. It was the second time this season the Hawks have recorded 10 or more steals in a game. Kaci Donovan, Ariana Vanderhoop, Lovin Marsicano and Jania Hall each had two steals in the game.Â
The Hawks enter Sunday's game while averaging 6.1 steals per game. Bri Tinsley (16), Belle Kranbuhl (14) and Vanderhoop (12) have all recorded 10 or more steals so far this season.
CLEANING THE GLASS
MU and Stony Brook each grabbed 37 rebounds on Friday night. Belle Kranbuhl led the way with a game-high 10 rebounds while Bri Tinsley added a career-high nine rebounds in the game.Â
Monmouth is outrebounding its opponents by a +1.6 margin this season, which is tied for sixth in the CAA. The Hawks have outrebounded their opponents in ten games this season. The Hawks have not lost the rebounding battle since Dec. 21 at BYU. Kranbuhl is averaging a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game while Lucy Thomas is adding 5.2 rebounds per game. IT'S GOOD TO BE HOME
The Hawks return home today where they have posted a 5-2 mark and a 2-1 mark in CAA play under head coach Ginny Boggess. One of the keys to success at home has been getting off to a flying start. MU is outscoring opponents by a 218-192 margin in the first half at home this year. Another key to success has been winning the rebounding battle inside OceanFirst Bank Center. Monmouth holds a +6 rebounding margin in home games this year. Bri Tinsley (13.3 ppg) and Ariana Vanderhoop (11.2 ppg) are both averaging double digits at home while Belle Kranbuhld has pulled down a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game at home.

Despite being held to just five three-pointers against Stony Brook, it has been a key to success for the Hawks this season.Â
The Hawks have connected on eight or more three-pointers in a game ten times this season, including a season-high 11 three-pointers twice (Navy/BYU). MU is 7-3 on the season when hitting eight or more three-pointers.Â
Monmouth holds down the top spot in the CAA while averaging 7.6 three-pointers a game this season. Tinsley, Jen Louro, Kaci Donovan, Panayides, Lovin Marsicano and Ariana Vanderhoop have all made 10 or more three-pointers so far this season.
SCOUTING TOWSONÂ
The Tigers are 8-7 overall and 2-2 in CAA play and are coming off back-to-back wins over Hampton and William & Mary. Anissa Rivera led Towson with 16 points and eight rebounds against the Tribe. Kylie Kornegay-Lucas leads the Tigers on the season while averaging 16.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. She also has a team-high 63 assists on the year.
