WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University Women's Basketball and Head Coach
Ginny Boggess have announced the 2022-23 non-conference schedule, featuring 11 contests including four home games.
"There are certainly a lot of exciting matchups in this season's non-conference schedule," said Boggess. "With the move to the CAA, I wanted to make sure the early competition prepares us for the rigor of our conference opponents. We look forward to seeing you at the OceanFirst Bank Center."
The Hawks will begin the season with a road tilt at St. John's on November 7 ahead of their first home game of the season on November 10 against in-state foe NJCU. Following the home opener, Monmouth will embark on a four-game road swing beginning on November 13 at Sacred Heart. MU is also set to make stops at Loyola Maryland (November 16), Navy (November 22), and Brown (November 25).
The Blue and White will then be at home for a pair of games against NJIT on November 27 and St. Francis Brooklyn on December 1. The Hawks will then take the short trip west to La Salle on December 7 before returning to West Long Branch to host Dartmouth on December 10. Monmouth's non-conference slate concludes on December 21 in Utah against BYU, who went 26-4 and made the NCAA Tournament as a six seed last season.
