Scott Belford has announced the program's 2022-23 schedule as the Hawks prepare to compete in their first season of competition.
"I am extremely excited for our first season of racing," Belford said. "The schedule we have put together will allow us to see competition across all three NCAA Divisions, while challenging ourselves against Colonial Athletic Association programs almost every weekend. I believe we are setting up our young program for some fantastic racing, and I can't wait to get started."
The schedule features 10 competitions and a pair of training trips ahead prior to the CAA Championships in mid-May.
Monmouth's season begins at the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuykill River in Philadelphia on October 15. The Hawks will also compete in the Head of the Charles, Head of the Schuykill, Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta and Braxton Regatta during the fall slate.
Monmouth's winter training trip will be in Sarasota, FL from January 7-14 and the Hawks will spend Spring Break in Clemson, SC from March 11-17 prior to the start of Spring competition.
The Murphy Cup, Knecht Cup and Kerr Cup all are scheduled for April ahead of the Spring Metropolitan Championships (April 29) and Dad Vail Regatta (May 12-13) prior to the CAA Championships on May 15. The CAA event will be held in Pennsauken, NJ on the Cooper River.
