WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth women's lacrosse team got back into the win column on Saturday after topping Siena, 17-11, at Kessler Stadium.

The Hawks (6-6, 1-2 MAAC) led by eight at the midway point, 10-2, before the Saints (6-6, 2-1 MAAC) went on a 6-1 run in the third frame to make it a three-goal game. However, Monmouth countered with five unanswered goals in the fourth before securing the 17-11 win.

Danielle McNeely had a career day for Monmouth after posting a five-point outing on four goals and an assist. It was her first career multi-goal performance and her first collegiate assist.

Caroline Brennan,
Carli Mangum and
Cassidy Orban each also recorded hat tricks with three goals apiece. Brennan added an assist to her stat line for a four-point game.

On the defensive end,
Brianna Falco finished her afternoon with three ground balls to go along with two caused turnovers. The third-year defender also recorded a career-high nine draw controls.
