WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J.  – The Monmouth women's tennis team fell to Fairfield in the MAAC opener, 7-0, on Friday.
 
Nicole Gasser and Lenien Jamir won their match in first doubles, but Fairfield secured the doubles point.
