WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Monmouth women's basketball team fell to Siena, 69-65, in a down-to-the-wire MAAC game on Saturday afternoon at OceanFirst Bank Center.

Siena (10-18, 10-10 MAAC) led by double figures heading into the fourth, but the Hawks (14-15, 9-11 MAAC) began to chip into the deficit. With 4:15 left in the game,
Stella Clark buried a trey to spark an 11-5 run that lasted until there was 16 seconds remaining.

The Saints went to the line and made one foul shot before Clark once again delivered a timely 3-pointer to make it a two-point game, 67-65. However, Siena was able to ice the game in the final seconds at the charity stripe en route to securing the road win.

Clark paced the Monmouth offense with a team-best 21 points to pair with four assists.
Kaci Donovan made a bevy of timely shots late in the contest and finished with 18 in the scoring column.

Brianna Livingston got the start and posted an eight-point performance, while
Jen Louro chipped in with seven points and a team-high nine rebounds.
