NEWARK, DE – The Monmouth University men's lacrosse team dropped a 17-6 decision at No. 17 Delaware on Saturday afternoon at Delaware Stadium.
The Blue Hens built a 3-0 lead after the first quarter and led by double digits at halftime following
Andrew Duswalt's goal right before the intermission.
The two sides played a more even game after halftime with Delaware outscoring Monmouth 6-5 over the final 30 minutes.
