JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Monmouth women's basketball team fell to Saint Peter's, 78-66, in a road MAAC game on Monday night.

Monmouth (13-12, 8-8 MAAC) held a four-point lead at the midway point, 39-35, however, Saint Peter's (11-14, 8-8 MAAC) shot over 50 percent from the field and outscored the Hawks, 43-27, in the second half en route to claiming the home win.

Ariana Vanderhoop led all Monmouth scorers with a career-best 14 points to pair with a career-high 11 rebounds.
Lucy Thomas had an efficient scoring night, finishing with 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting to go along with six boards.

Jania Hall logged nine in the scoring column, while
Brianna Livingston added seven off the bench.
Stella Clark finished with eight points, six assists and five rebounds.
Belle Kranbuhl chipped in on the glass with seven rebounds and recorded a game-high four blocks.
