OPENING TIP
-Monmouth is looking for its first road win at Rider since Jan. 21, 2016.
-A win would give the Hawks their first regular season sweep of the Broncs since the 2015-16 campaign.
-Sophomore center Belle Kranbuhl is one block shy of cracking into the top-10 all-time in program history. She would tie Jewonda Bright '04 for 10th all-time.
-Monmouth had its three-game win streak halted this past Saturday after falling to Niagara, 80-74.
-Rider has dropped back-to-back outings to Manhattan and Saint Peter's. The Broncs have only one home win this season and have not won at Alumni Gymnasium since Dec. 1 against NJIT.

INSIDE THE SERIES
-Thursday's matchup between Monmouth and Rider marks the 54th all-time meeting between the two sides and the second this season.
-The Hawks won the first matchup this season against the Broncs, 63-53, on Jan. 27. Stella Clark led all scorers in that meeting with 18 points and six boards, while Belle Kranbuhl poured in 12 in the scoring column to go along with seven boards and a season-high seven blocks.

THOMAS ON A TEAR
Senior forward Lucy Thomas had herself a week during the Hawks' pair of games in Western New York. The Ocean, N.J., native went 16-of-20 (80%) from the field while averaging 17 points and six rebounds per contest. She led Monmouth in scoring in both contests and spearheaded the Hawks' fourth-quarter comeback against Canisius on Feb. 10 by going a flawless 5-of-5 from the floor for 10 of the team's 29 points in the closing 10 minutes. From the 3:51 mark of the first quarter against Canisius until the one-minute mark of the fourth quarter at Niagara, Thomas made 15 consecutive shots without a miss.

CRASHING THE OFFENSIVE GLASS
Monmouth has reeled in double-digit offensive rebounds in eight straight outings, marking the longest streak for the program since the 2019-20 season when the team did it in eight consecutive contests. As a team, the Hawks have collected double-digit offensive rebounds in each of the past nine seasons.

BOUNCING BACK
Monmouth has made a habit of bouncing back after losses this season. The Hawks are currently 6-2 in games played after a loss.

CLARK ON THE ROAD
Over her last nine road appearances, graduate student Stella Clark has been a stat sheet stuffer. The Sea Girt, N.J., native is averaging 14.9 points per game, while connecting on 39 percent of her shots from the field and 45 percent of her 3-point attempts. She has reeled in 5.3 boards per game, while also dishing out four assists per contest. Clark has reached double-digit scoring in five of the nine outings, while logging three 20-point performances.
