NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The Monmouth women's basketball team fell to Niagara, 80-74, on Saturday afternoon in a MAAC contest.

The Hawks (13-9, 8-5 MAAC) led 63-57 with 6:36 left to play, but the Purple Eagles (11-12, 8-7 MAAC) outscored Monmouth, 23-11, the rest of the way to secure the win.

Lucy Thomas led the Hawks offensively and bested her season-high scoring mark for the second straight game after finishing with 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting to go along with five boards.
Jania Hall had a career-high scoring output, logging 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting with four assists.

Ariana Vanderhoop posted an 11-point performance with five boards, while
Jen Louro recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.
