NOTES AND QUOTES

"Obviously, it was a tough way to end the season. We have to give credit to Marist. They did a great job of attacking us early. We fought back in the first game, but fell just short. In game two, we couldn't quite get the hits that we needed. At the end of the day, I'm super proud of this team. We fought through a lot of different things with COVID and pauses, but we continued to be positive and work together. I would like to thank the seniors for their hard work, not only this season but all of their previous seasons. I'm thrilled that they were a part of our program and helped build a foundation of success. Hopefully as we move forward, we can make them proud."   – Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
