NOTES AND QUOTES

"Today was an awesome day of softball. I'm really pleased with the team and how we came out. From pitch one, we took control of the doubleheader. From top to bottom, every hitter I put in had quality at bats. We continue to work on our process, and you can really see that start to happen today. Alyssa and Kylie both threw well and gave us strong starts. Christine Frazee did an excellent job of shutting down the last game. It's a great way to head into our trip to Niagara." – Monmouth head coach Shannon Salsburg
